A significant addition that will transform this Eugene home near UO campus. Designed for a young couple with their first child on the way, our team worked quickly to create a true primary suite with laundry facilities and access to the back yard.

What’s coming
The couple sought to improve their current home, but wanted to keep the vintage feel they loved. A existing unpermitted addition was showing its age, and safety concerns. An untraditional layout meant walking through the bedroom to access laundry room, and back yard. The couple needed a space of their own, with efficient layout and modern amenities.
The team
Motley Construction worked with us from the start. One of Eugene’s best residential contractors, we treated the project as a design-build alongside Motley, leveraging their experience on addition projects in our area. Wyatt Dean Engineering performed structural work, which matters because we’re opening up a load-bearing wall and connecting to a vintage home. It’s the kind of project that requires a team who talks to each other, and these are people we trust.
