What’s coming
The Dlouhy home is a well-built house with a floor plan that hasn’t kept up with how the family lives now. The kids are older, everyone works from home some days, and the kitchen that was fine ten years ago now feels like a bottleneck. The addition addresses all of it without erasing what’s good about the original house.
The team
Motley Construction is handling the build — they’re one of Eugene’s best residential contractors and they’ve built additions like this before. Wyatt Dean Engineering is doing the structural work, which matters because we’re opening up a load-bearing wall to connect the new space to the old. It’s the kind of project that requires a team who talks to each other, and these are people I trust.
